Giovanni (Gio) Gavarone is the Managing Director of Penfield Marine Pte. Ltd in Singapore; he was appointed to this position in August 2019 after 6 years as Managing Director of Penfield Marine (UK) Ltd in London. Gio is also the Managing Director of Penfield’s Aframax pool.

Before joining Penfield, Gio worked for Banchero Costa (2000-2004 and 2011-2013) and Heidmar (2004-2010) as a broker, freight trader and pool director.
