Connecticut-based commercial manager Penfield Marine has taken a big step in building its fledgling suezmax pool by taking in two newbuildings from Cosco Shipping Energy Transportation (CSET).
Norway's Bergshav is putting two of its three aframax tankers into a Penfield Marine pool: the 115,000-dwt Berica (built 2008) and Bergina (built 2007).
Penfield Marine is not a German company — its headquarters are in Fairfield, Connecticut — but the tanker operator has been staging its own version of Munich's Oktoberfest.
